INDURE

BLOCKCHAIN INSURANCE IDENTITY

ROLE

Hacker in the EthDEN 2019 Blockchain Hackathon. I provided research, user flows, wireframes, testing, and final presentation to judges.

GOAL

To develop a blockchain solution for employees to report their own injuries using Uport as the method for verifying credentials and enabling smart contracts.

RESULT

Indure was the winner of the Best User On-boarding Experience and Ideas By Nature Bounty Winner at EthDEN 2019.

PROBLEM

If an employee were to get hurt on the job and needed immediate medical attention, they would need to go to the emergency room and pay out of pocket for costs until their employer could file a first report of an injury and receive a claim number. At the Ethereum Denver Hackathon, our team was challenged with using blockchain technology to create a functional application that could act as an authentication portal for an injured worker to report a claim on behalf of themselves.
